During the coldest three months of the year, the Night Shelter is replaced by the Winter Night Shelter – a multi-faith shelter that rotates around seven faith venues in the city.
The shelter brings together people of all faiths and other belief systems to help some of the most vulnerable in our society.
Open for three months during the winter, the shelter provides emergency accommodation and food to homeless people in Leicester.
The shelter is a very open, welcoming environment where we treat the people who stay with us as our guests. We aim to create a homely atmosphere where guests can relax and feel safe.
This is an excellent project to get involved in and to work together with others from different religion & belief background. If you are interested, have a word with Fr Johannes and look here.
