Finally we were able to have a party! It was lovely the welcome the Lord Mayor of Leicester to St Andrew’s and spend time together on the day of Pentecost. In spite of the abysmal weather forecast we managed without a drop of rain and even enjoyed some sunshine.
A huge thank you to all who worked so hard to make this a memorable occasion, namely all who worked to make the garden beautiful and all those who helped with food and drink, preparations and tidying up.
The gardens are a wonderful addition to our facilities at St Andrew’s, weather permitting we will use them after Mass all over the summer.
